851 mosque halls allocated to offer Eid al-Adha prayers in Dubai

Dubai’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Works has released a list of mosques and prayer halls for Eid al-Adha prayers.

The ministry said 851 mosques and prayer halls have been allocated across the emirate. It called on residents to choose the nearest mosque or prayer hall for Eid prayers.

On Friday, Sharjah’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced the allocation of 640 prayer halls and mosques across the emirate for Eid al-Adha prayers.

Many prayer halls and mosques are reserved for non-Arabic language speakers, such as Urdu, Malayalam, Tamil and English. Apart from simultaneous interpretation of Eid sermons in sign language for the hearing impaired.

Eid al-Adha is celebrated on the 10th day of the Muslim month of Dhul Hijjah, which falls on Sunday, June 16th.
