8.30am: Employees exposed to heavy rain

Despite the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announcing a holiday for civil servants, several residents were forced to leave the morning I arrived at the office braving the morning rain on my way to work.

8am: Metro timing extended

For Dubai Metro commuters, the Road and Transport Authority has extended the operating hours April 16 until 3:00 AM (next day). This extension is to ease your trips during rainy conditions.
