Meghan Markle looks set to ask Netflix to bail her out of another crisis after the Duchess of Sussex struggles to find a CEO to lead her new business.

Meghan Markle may already be giving up control of her latest ambitious project as the Duchess of Sussex has asked Netflix to step in and help run her new cooking and lifestyle business, American Riviera Orchard.

The extraordinary development follows reports that Meghan struggled to find a CEO herself.

She interviewed several candidates for the role after launching the search for a business leader five weeks ago.

However, a California-based source close to Netflix told the Daily Mail that the search has “so far been unsuccessful.”

The recent disaster doesn’t bode well for Meghan’s latest project, which was revealed just last month.

Sources say she has enlisted her existing partnerships.

Officials said: “This is new for Netflix. We will be running a lifestyle business with Meghan and developing products as spin-offs of her shows.” If a partnership is agreed, Netflix will likely bring in its own CEO to run the deal. The couple hosts the home renovation show Fixer Upper and sells bedding and other lifestyle products inspired by the show.

According to the first trademark application filed on February 2nd, American Riviera Orchard is used for home and kitchen accessories such as decanters, napkin rings, cutlery, table linens, placemats and napkins, and cookbooks. We plan to sell supplies. So far, the 42-year-old has promoted her new brand by sending gifts of her new jam to 50 of her celebrity friends, including Kris Jenner.

“The brand will launch alongside the launch of Netflix’s new cooking show,” a source told the Daily Mail at the time. Duchess Meghan plans to manufacture and sell products such as jam. One day there will be a book and a blog.”

Filming for the show began last week at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s California vacation home.
