Social media influencer Molly-Mae Hague has announced her split from boxer Tommy Fury, just over a year after their engagement.
The couple met on the 2019 series of ITV2 reality show Love Island and gave birth to their only child, daughter Bambi, in January last year.
Less than an hour after Hague announced the split, Fury wrote in another Instagram post that he was “heartbroken” about the end of the relationship.
The split comes just three weeks after Hague described Fury as “the love of my life” and shared a video on Instagram to mark exactly one year since his proposal.
Breaking the news of their split, Hague wrote, “I never in my life thought I’d have to write this.”
“After five years together, I never thought our story would end like this.
“It is with great sadness that I announce that my relationship with Tommy has come to an end.
“I am now and will always be forever grateful for what means the most to me – my beautiful daughter.
“She wouldn’t exist without us and she will always be my priority.
“I want to thank you for the love you’ve shown us over the past five years. You are all part of our journey and it feels right to share this with you all.
“As I try to get through the next few days and weeks please respect my privacy at this difficult time. I will contact you again when I feel like it. Molly-Mae x.”
Fury said in his post: “I am heartbroken to announce that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship.
“Over the past five years we have welcomed a beautiful baby daughter, Bambi and I am forever grateful to Molly for making me a father.
“Bambi remains our number one priority.
“Please respect our privacy and that of our family as we navigate this difficult time.”
The statement came after Fury posted on Instagram, “My ‘One and All’.
The couple recently starred in the Netflix reality series, At Home with the Furies, alongside Fury’s half-brother and fellow boxer, Tyson Fury.
