Oasis fans were given voting codes for advance tickets if they were selected, but many were disappointed to receive nothing.
The band confirmed that pre-sales would open at 7pm tonight. General sales will begin on Saturday morning, at 8am for the Dublin show and 9am for the UK shows.
Fans have been waiting all morning to find out if they’re one of the lucky ones. Tonight’s pre-sale runs from 7pm to 10pm. Fans have been sent a personal code that they need to use to access the presale.
Some fans haven’t received the email and are shocked at their vote. One person pleaded, “Is it just sporadically people getting presale codes or did they all leave at the same time????” while another added, “It’s annoying!!!!” #oasis #presale I still haven’t received my code.” Another commented, “Has anyone received their presale email yet??” So nervous”
Oasis have announced that all presale codes have been sent out, so fans won’t be able to access the presale if they don’t have the code. They wrote, “ALL TICKET VOTING CODES HAVE BEEN SENT TO FANS. Do not buy the code or give it to anyone else.
The code only works with the registered email address. If you have not yet received the code to access the presale, you can join the general sale tomorrow morning. “
Those who received the presale code are also worried. One person explained: “I got the presale code…” One fan said: You probably haven’t got your tickets yet.”
Some Oasis fans have received their confirmation email. The band kick off their comeback next year with 17 shows in the UK and Ireland, and fans had the chance to register for the presale on Tuesday, but while they were waiting for the confirmation email, thousands of people didn’t even know if they had registered for the presale.
Many expected the presale to start on Friday morning as fans waited to receive a presale code or time. Oasis had previously revealed they were experiencing problems sending emails due to “unprecedented demand”.
Oasis have announced a reunion tour in the UK in 2025. Fourteen dates have been announced so far, and Liam and Noel Gallagher will return to the stage together for the first time in 16 years. Tickets go on sale on Saturday,
. They said yesterday: “Due to a last minute surge in pre-sale registrations, a large number of confirmation emails are still being processed and sent. The deadline for registration confirmations has been extended until tomorrow (Friday 30 August) at 10am BST.”
If you’ve been successful in the draw you will be contacted by 5pm BST tomorrow with information about pre-sale access. Thank you for your patience.”
