Former Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer Graziano Di Prima was photographed in Italy with his wife Giada Rini, making his first public appearance in months.
The 30-year-old was wearing a white T-shirt, combat-style shorts, sneakers, sunglasses and his hair up as he walked with his wife in Rome. At one point, Graziano showed off his abs as he tucked his shirt up to cool off in the hot weather.
Giada, who teamed up with Giovanni Pernice when they announced they were joining the cast of the Italian version of Strictly Come Dancing, wore light blue shorts adorned with white flowers, a white top and a white shirt. She carried a bag and also wore sunglasses.
The 29-year-old, who will marry Graziano in 2022, is a professional dancer on the TV show and confirmed on social media last week that she had renewed her contract for the new season.
The latest photos of Graziano and Giada were taken after he received them from the Ballando con le Stelle studios. The couple were spotted holding hands and kissing on the banks of the Tiber.
This comes after Giovanni, who was dropped from the line-up of Strictly’s professional dancers along with Graziano, announced last weekend that he too would be joining Ballando con le Stelle. On Saturday evening, Giovanni shared the news with his fans on Instagram.
The BBC has launched an investigation after actress Amanda Abbington (50) made a complaint about her former dance partner Giovanni (34). The two were partners on last year’s season of Strictly, with Amanda alleging “bullying” and “aggressive behaviour” while Giovanni denies “abusive or threatening behaviour”.
Graziano also left the show last year after allegations emerged about his behaviour in the rehearsal room after he dated Zara McDermott. In July, Graziano said he “deeply regrets” the events that led to his departure from Strictly.
In a sensational statement shared with his fans on July 13, the Italian pro dancer candidly admitted that his “intense passion and determination to win may have influenced my training plan”.
He told his followers on Instagram that he “deeply regrets the events that led to my departure from Strictly”. My great passion and determination to win may have influenced my training programme.
“I respect the BBC’s staff selection process but I also know that it is only natural for me to step down for the sake of the show. I am disappointed that I was not allowed to quote online news but I understand the sensitivity of the situation.
There is much about this story that I cannot speak about at the moment but I will stand strong for my family and friends and I wish the Strictly family only success in the future.”
