Sarah Ferguson has snubbed Prince Andrew with her emotional tribute after daughter Princess Beatrice announced she is expecting her second child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi
Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew’s former wife, and the Royal Lodge on the Windsor Estate, where they currently reside, maintain a cordial relationship. However, the 64-year-old Duchess of York’s heartfelt message to their daughter may have caused the atmosphere this week to feel a little chilly.
On Tuesday, it was made public that Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are expecting their second child. The York family, which has endured a difficult year, received a much-needed boost of happiness from this announcement.
Andrew has been involved in a persistent dispute with King Charles regarding the future of the Royal Lodge in addition to his ongoing embarrassment regarding his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Beatrice, 36, was reportedly deeply troubled by the tragic death of her former boyfriend, Paulo Liuzzo, while Fergie received the heartbreaking news that she had skin cancer. Fergie also received the diagnosis.
However, when his ex-wife posted a touching social media post, it appears that the 64-year-old Duke of York’s hopes that the baby news would strengthen family unity were dashed, despite their cordial relationship, the message glaringly omitted any mention of the soon-to-be grandfather.
She yelled, ” The joy and excitement I feel as you and Endo get ready to welcome yet another precious member to your beautiful family cannot be adequately summed up in words. My heart is bursting with joy and gratitude at the prospect of receiving a grant once more. One of the greatest privileges of my life has been to watch you become a mother, and now to see your family grow even more is an absolute blessing.”
“The love that surrounds us is also growing, and our family is growing as well. I can’t wait to meet this little one and make all the wonderful memories with him.
In addition, she shared a picture on social media of herself with Beatrice and Sienna, who were three years old at the time, clearly missing their grandfather Andrew, declaring herself to be a “very proud GiGi/Mum.”
This isn’t the first time Fergie has left Andrew out of her social media posts about her family. She didn’t mention him on Father’s Day. Instead, she talked about Mr. Mozzi and Jack Brooksbank, Princess Eugenie’s husband and father of two.
