Khalifa University of Science and Technology announced today that it has risen three places to become number one in the UAE in the 2025 QS Arab University Rankings, which evaluated over 246 universities in the region and ranked fourth in the Arab region.
In addition to scoring 100 points in the categories of papers per faculty and international faculty ratio, Khalifa University also achieved 94.4 in citations per paper in the 2025 QS Arab University Rankings, which was determined using 10 key indicators.
The QS Arab University Rankings evaluates each academic institution based on several measures, including reputation among academics and employers. Criteria include academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio, international student ratio and international research network.
Furthermore, Khalifa University has improved its position in the Times Higher Education (THE) 2025 World University Rankings and is currently in the 201-250th range.
