Sonakshi and Zaheer will marry in a civil ceremony in Bandra. The wedding will be followed by a celebration at Bastian with close friends and family. The couple have kept quiet about their relationship but wedding invitations have been leaked online, in which they asked guests not to wear red. A host of Bollywood stars are expected to be present at the wedding reception. Stars like Aayush Sharma and Siddharth have also been pictured arriving at the venue. Decorations have also been arranged for the wedding reception and flowers will be placed where guests will have their photographs taken.
Honey Singh was also photographed arriving in Mumbai to join the celebrations. He joked to the paparazzi, “Bina daal pye nachunga main aaj (Today I will dance, not drink alcohol).”
Zaheer’s father at the wedding
Zaheer’s father recently told the Free Press Journal that Sonakshi would not convert for the wedding. “There will be no Hindu or Muslim rituals,” he said. It will be a civil marriage. She will not convert, that’s for sure.
Theirs is a bond of the heart and has nothing to do with religion. I believe in humanity. Hindus call God Bhagwan and Muslims call God Allah. But at the end of the day, we are all human. Blessings to Zaheer and Sonakshi.
