Abu Dhabi won the Best Stand Design Award (over 150 square meters) at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024, which runs until Thursday 9 May at Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC).
The exhibitor’s stand was praised by ATM’s independent judges for its flowing design, innovative use of green plants and excellent visibility from the exhibition space.
Best Stand Design category (50-150 sqm), ExploreTECH was chosen by the jury for its sophisticated two-storey concept and efforts to promote partner startups. Bangkok Metropolitan Government Building won the Best Stand Design Award (less than 50 square meters) for its traditional yet colorful layout and effective use of space
Qiddiya Investment Company’s booth won his ATM’s Grand Prize for Best Use of Technology. The jury praised the organization’s interactive digital replica, which gives participants the feeling of being physically present in a huge project planned for Saudi Arabia.
ATM The 2024 Sustainable Stand Award was presented to her AlUla for paying particular attention to the reuse of materials, including the carpets selected for the space. The exhibitor has integrated a series of her QR codes to enable visitors to obtain information about the sustainability-related reasons behind various design decisions. The jury was also impressed by AlUla’s commitment to offset the stand’s emissions, and its approach to visitor engagement by planting trees for everyone who attends during the show.
This year’s Best Stand for Do Business award goes to Saudi Tourism Authority, which effectively manages multiple destinations with different meeting points, zones dedicated to national culture, and rich information points. The award for Best Stand Feature went to flydubai for its innovative design that leverages perspective, giving visitors the feeling of flying while resembling an airplane wing from some angles, and from others.
