The Real Madrid central defender has not recovered in time from the cruciate ligament injury he sustained in his left knee while playing for Real Madrid in December.

“Obviously it’s disappointing that he won’t be able to participate as a player. I’ve talked to him in the last few weeks and he said it’s a big wish for him to be with us,” Rangnick said. Ta.

Rangnick must reduce the number of provisional members from 29 to 26 by June 7th.

Austria opens the Eurogroup D season against France in Düsseldorf on June 17th, then faces Poland in Berlin three days later, followed by the Netherlands on June 25th.
