The horse racing critic and academic sparked outrage with her harsh comments about the king Charles new portrait.

Dr. Shola Moss-Shogbamim has provoked the ire of loyal royal fans by reacting to the portrait of King Charles that was unveiled for the first time since her ascension as monarch.
The race commentator and academic noted the painting’s red hue and wrote that X “embodies the bloody legacy of the British monarchy”.

Her comments sparked a strong reaction online. One A third simply said, “Okay, okay.”
The painting, unveiled at Buckingham Palace on the afternoon of 14 May, depicts Charles in the uniform of the Welsh Guards, who was appointed colonel of the Welsh Guards in 1975.
Mr Yeo said the dominant color red in the portrait gave it a “dynamic and contemporary feel”.
The king, a nature lover, suggested that a butterfly float on his shoulder in the portrait.
After the revelation, Mr Yeo joked that he wanted to “take full credit for this”, which was “actually the right idea on the subject”.
Commenting on the honor he felt when he was asked to create this painting, Mr Yeo said: ”Since his coronation.
“When I started this project, His Majesty was still His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, and this portrait, like the butterfly I painted that landed on his shoulder, was an inspiration to our audience. Changed
“I do my best to capture the life experiences etched on each performer’s face.” In this case, my aim was to also refer to the tradition of royal portraiture, but in a way that reflected the 21st century monarchy, and above all to convey the deep humanity of the subject.
