introducing the first eco-conscious yachting experience in the region, Dubai Yachts, a leading yachting company, has boldly moved toward a more sustainable future.

Luxury yachting market is valued at $13 billion and projected to expand by eight per cent annually to reach $16 billion by 2027.

Dubai Yachts’ new fleet is setting a new standard in the yachting industry by providing high-end opulence with an emphasis on minimizing environmental impact, as demand for sustainable luxury travel increases.

Dubai Yachts’ fleet represents a significant shift toward a greener future for the industry, which is currently worth $13 billion and is expected to grow by 8% annually to reach $16 billion by 2027.

The new fleet is an important first step toward reducing the environmental impact of yachting while maintaining the highest levels of luxury, even though it is not yet fully sustainable.

McKinsey & Company found that 64% of ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) now consider sustainability to be an important consideration when selecting travel options.

Dubai Yachts has introduced vessels that not only achieve 20-30 percent lower emissions than traditional yachts but also prioritize passenger safety with sustainable designs. This insight reflects the growing trend among wealthy travelers who are increasingly prioritizing eco-friendly options in their travel choices.

The fleet has engines that use less energy and innovative waste management systems. All of the tableware on board is made of sustainable materials, so cups, plates, and cutlery don’t have to be used again. This commitment guarantees a safe and environmentally friendly atmosphere on board.

These eco-conscious vessels are designed with safety in mind and incorporate features like sustainable, non-toxic materials to reduce risks for passengers and crew alike. Beyond environmental concerns, Dubai Yachts’ commitment to sustainability emphasizes a safer and more comfortable experience for everyone aboard.

Tarlan Musaev, President and pioneer behind Dubai Yachts, remarked: ” We are aware that luxury travel will become more sustainable in the future. Although we are not yet fully sustainable, we are leading the global yachting industry by taking significant steps to lessen our impact on the environment.

Dubai’s position as a luxury destination Dubai is already a global yachting hub thanks to its world-class marinas and cutting-edge infrastructure. From October to April, the city’s winter-sun season draws yacht owners from all over the world.

Dubai’s GDP increased by more than $27 billion in 2022 thanks to the tourism industry. Dubai’s reputation as a destination that appeals to travelers seeking both luxury and responsibility is further enhanced by the addition of eco-conscious yachting.

Musaev, from his side, added: Dubai is perfectly placed to lead this change. Our fleet provides clients with the same grandiosity that they have come to expect from Dubai Yachts, but it is also more eco-friendly. This is only the beginning of a larger transformation of the industry.

The introduction of Dubai Yachts’ eco-friendly fleet is likely to have a significant impact on the worldwide yachting industry. This shift toward sustainability may inspire other global yachting hubs, from Monaco to Miami, to follow suit, as over 40% of the world’s superyachts are owned by individuals from Europe and the Middle East.

Dubai Yachts’ initiative is in line with global sustainability objectives, such as the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, establishing the company as a pioneer in environmentally conscious luxury travel.
