Linton Weirich was jailed for burglary in April after allegedly stealing £65,000 worth of goods from a safe in a luxury Kensington apartment.

The items he stole during the raid in March 2022 included jewellery, belts, a handbag, a laptop and a suitcase.

Weirich was sentenced to four and a half years for burglary and theft at Kingston Crown Court on June 7.

The 36-year-old man from west London was allegedly filmed on his mobile phone having sex with former prison guard Linda de Sousa Abreu.

She appeared in court yesterday charged with abuse of power.

A photo posted to his Instagram page shows Weirich with the same tattoo on his arm as the man featured in the alleged X-rated video.

Weirich has a partner who is seven months pregnant.

A source close to the partner, who asked not to be named, “This is definitely not necessary in her condition and it is very worrying.”

“This stupid video has affected her health and she was hospitalised over the weekend due to stress.” She worries it could trigger premature labour.

Appearing at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in March 2018, he also admitted assaulting a police officer with intent to resist arrest and driving without a licence and insurance.

Ms de Sousa Abreu, 30, who is married, was arrested at Heathrow Airport on Saturday before catching a flight to visit relatives in Madrid, the court heard yesterday.

She tried to enter the country on a Portuguese passport, but it was confiscated by the Metropolitan police.

Ms de Sousa Abreu appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with abuse of power for “engaging in sexual activity with an inmate in his cell”.

She was wearing a grey tracksuit while in custody and only confirmed her name, date of birth and address in her statement.

Prosecutor Niamh McDonagh told the court: “I believe she has relatives there.

“When she was arrested the police confiscated her Portuguese passport. She is a Portuguese national and holds a Portuguese passport.”

Defence lawyer Gayathri Yogarajah said Ms de Sousa Abreu had communicated her travel plans to Admiralty HQ Wandsworth, which were then duly forwarded to Scotland Yard.

Ms De Sousa Abreu, a Portuguese national living in southwest London, is a married ex-prison officer

She has been released on bail and is due to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on 29 July for argument and a case management hearing.

She must remain at the south-west London address given in court. Her Portuguese passport must be retained by police and she must not attempt to retrieve it.

She is prohibited from applying for or holding any international travel documents and must produce a Portuguese identity document that can be used to travel.

Ms Da Sousa Abreu is also forbidden to enter any UK port and must be electronically monitored between the hours of 9pm and 7am.
