Vicky Pattison married her long-term partner Erkan Ramadan in a ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London.
The 36-year-old Geordie Shore legend has been dating The Only Way Is Essex star Elkan since 2019. The couple plans to get engaged in 2022. For the ceremony, Vicky looked stunning in a white mini wedding dress, while Elkann wore a black suit with a bow tie and a white rose pinned to his lapel.
On a rainy London capital afternoon, 4,444 guests, including Towie’s Pete Wicks and Love Island star Faye Winter, Sir Paul McCartney and Liam Gallagher, threw confetti at the happy couple and flashed happy smiles. Around 150 friends and family celebrated Vicky and Elkann’s wedding, and Faye documented parts of the day on her Instagram Story, sharing glimpses of their big day.
After the ceremony, Vicky boarded a red London bus for photographs showing off one of the most iconic parts of London life, while the reception featured bespoke cocktails and custom sweet treats to dazzle guests.
According to snaps on Faye’s social media, the cocktail menu included drinks named after the happy couple, with guests enjoying the Patti Lam Passion and Angel of the North, which paid tribute to Vicky’s Newcastle roots. Erkann was the inspiration for the Turkish Delight cocktail, and there was also a Mashiro Mojito that brought a smile to guests’ faces.
The theme of the day was ‘Patty Rams’, the cutlery was set with napkins featuring that print and the tables were laid out with sweet treats to tempt even the strictest dieters.
After celebrating their big day, the happy couple will be flying to Puglia for their second wedding, which will feature in the upcoming Channel 4 series, Vicky Pattison: Destination Weddings.
This comes after Vicky opened up about feeling “hopeless” and “exhausted” ahead of her special day. The star shared a series of photos on social media in which she opened up about her mental health struggles. She has Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), a very severe form of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS).
According to charity Mind, it causes a range of mental and physical symptoms in the week or two before your period each month. Vicky told fans: “Believe me, a week before my wedding I was thinking, I don’t want to be that person…” You imagine being excited and happy and dressed up like a little bird…Instead I was depressed, anxious, self-critical and filled with feminine anger, hopelessness and fatigue – the results of PMDD.
“PMDD is like building a sandcastle out of good habits, positive vibes and a loving personality, and then watching it all wash away, leaving behind depression, anger, hopelessness and anxiety. The wave is receding. They start rebuilding as the new wave rolls in.
And you know what’s really annoying? My period always seems to come when I go on vacation. I have this spicy PMDD week right when I want something important to happen — something that will allow me to actually be my glowing, radiant, glorious self instead of an anxious, suicidal little shell of a woman.”
