Jennifer Garner’s partner John Miller has told ex-husband Ben Affleck that it’s not her responsibility to “save” Lopez’s broken marriage, a source has claimed.
Garner, 52, was photographed comforting Affleck, 51, amid reports that their divorce is imminent, at the Brentwood mansion they rent for $100,000 a month last month.
Now, sources say that Garner’s rumored fiancé, businessman Miller, 46, is tired of her trying to “save” Affleck’s relationship with the 54-year-old singer.
“Obviously it bothers John that Jen is constantly thinking about her ex-husband,”.
“He cares deeply about Ben and understands what he’s going through with Jennifer, but that doesn’t mean Jen should resolve her issues with her ex-husband and his current wife.” It doesn’t make sense to anyone

“John wants nothing more than for Ben to be happy but it’s not his girlfriend’s responsibility to babysit him.
“Ben has to solve this for himself and his wife has to solve it. It’s not Jen’s responsibility and he’s told her so.”
Garner was first allegedly linked to the chairman and CEO of Cali Group in 2018, the same year she officially announced her divorce from Affleck after 13 years of marriage.
They took a dating hiatus before getting back together in 2020 and have kept a relatively low profile since then.
Another source claimed Miller is “trying to distance himself” from the current Affleck drama and that his relationship with Garner hasn’t suffered as a result.
“John doesn’t get involved in that stuff. He knows it’s none of his business and no one wants to talk about their exes any more than they have to, so he stays out of it,” they said. “But it’s everywhere, so Jen can’t get away from it.
It’s not negatively impacting her current relationships or life.” She just wants to protect her kids and she does that by being there for Ben when he needs her.”
They added that Affleck knows he’s a “burden” and tries to avoid discussions, talking about the breakdown of his marriage to his ex-wife. They share three children, Violet, 18, Finn (formerly Seraphina), 15, and Samuel, 12.
“Jen oversees everything and has repeatedly told Ben he can talk to her about anything and that she’s there for him to vent his frustrations,” the source said. “But Ben never wants to be a burden to her and he just talks to her about the kids and what they need.”
Affleck and Lopez rekindled their romance in 2021 and tied the knot at a lavish party in Georgia the following year, but have been dogged by reports that their marriage is on the rocks.
That Garner tried to save the couple, affectionately known as “Bennifer,” but Lopez confided in the actress because they both feared Affleck, a former alcoholic, would relapse.
Lopez also canceled her entire “This is Me Now” tour in a final attempt to save her marriage.
In a statement, she said it was “absolutely necessary” to break a long-held promise to “be with our children, family and close friends.”
But despite repeated efforts, the estranged couple appears headed for divorce and are reportedly looking for a buyer for the $60 million mansion they bought to live in with their children.
They were holed up for four hours on Sunday at the top of the 12-bedroom property, which had recently been listed on an estate agent’s website but had been removed when they bought it in May last year.
Last month, Lopez was photographed looking at properties in Beverly Hills with her longtime producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas. Affleck was not present. A source later told Page Six that she was looking at investment properties.
Reports emerged that their marriage was strained after the oft-photographed couple had not been seen together for 47 days.
During this time, Lopez attended the premiere of her Netflix film Atlas and the Met Gala alone, and Affleck was photographed multiple times without his wedding ring.
Since then, the two have bonded in more ways than one, attending Affleck’s son Samuel’s graduation party together and sharing an awkward air kiss at a basketball game.
