During Wednesday’s half-term instalment on Loose Women, Kaye Adams accidentally let slip a rude word with the likes of Denise Welch admonishing the star.
Kay Adams’ jaw dropped when she let slip a naughty word on today’s Loose Women. The 61-year-old ITV presenter got stuck into a fashion debate with her co-stars this afternoon.
The presenter was embroiled in a heated argument with Denise Welch, Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards when she could be heard saying the word “bl**dy”. It came as the group were discussing fashion basics that look good on them.
Brenda, 55, honestly said she hates wearing dresses because it makes her feel bad. The star confessed that she “doesn’t feel right” because she is insecure about her “thin ankles”.
Meanwhile, Janet, 77, said she refuses to wear different ensembles and has become more inflexible about her appearance over the years. Kay snapped at Janet, unexpectedly declaring, “Well, let’s not do that again…”
Then she gasped and covered her mouth, realising she had just sworn on live TV. Brenda exclaimed that she couldn’t believe what Kay had just said.
She then called the group of women “pranksters” after they made a series of blunders during the show.
Previously, Janet had used unflatteringly offensive language when discussing the return of men’s magazines.
Brenda was heard saying, “Everyone on this panel is prankster today.” “You guys are naughty,” she added, laughing at the audience, and continued to laugh.
Meanwhile, Dennis, 66, spoke up and said, “One, two, three, it’s halftime, Kay Adams,” before putting her feet up on the desk.
Dennis made a number of comments during the broadcast, cautioning women to keep public debate to a minimum because their children were at home and it was a daytime talk show.
Kay was at a loss for words and had to silence her co-stars, who continued to laugh.
However, she profusely apologized for her remarks, both to the live audience and those watching at home.
She said: “Sorry if I caused any offense.”
Kay added: “Who can blame me, who can blame me, look at these shoes,” pointing to Denise’s outrageous fashion basics.
