Authorities are searching for TV and radio presenter Dr. Michael Mosley body has been found on the Greek island of Symi.
The 67-year-old, known for his TV shows Radio 4 podcast Just One Thing, went missing on holiday on Wednesday.
Authorities are searching the remote mountain area for Dr. Mosley.
He is known for his TV shows and appearances and the Just One Thing. Mosley went missing at around 1:30pm local time on Wednesday after leaving his wife on the beach in Agios Nikolaos for a walk.
His wife reported him to the doctor. Mosley was subsequently reported missing as he had no mobile phone with him.
The body, which has yet to be formally identified, was found on a small cliff on a rocky hill northeast of the village of Pedi, near the beach of Agia Marina.
A police source told UAE Breaking News that the deceased had been dead for “several days”.
The mayor of Symi said the body was found while a team was searching the coast with cameras.
Greek authorities spent five days searching for the doctor. Mosley is a wanted man and the operation involved firefighters, dogs, helicopters, drones, local residents and authorities from within and outside the island of Symi.
