Noel and Liam Gallagher have promised “wall to wall classics” when they launch their Oasis Live 25 tour next year.
The brothers have finally reconciled and will tour together in 2025, when Oasis will play their first shows in 16 years, first playing 14 dates in the UK and Ireland before embarking on a world tour.
A press release issued by Gallagher this morning to promote the gig read: “Cheering to greet them as they take to the stage. A set packed with wall to wall classics.
The tingly feeling of being in a crowd singing every word together. And above all else, the charisma, brilliance and intensity that can only come when Liam and Noel Gallagher are onstage together.”
The band have had a host of memorable performances, from “Some Might Say” to “Fans had been hoping for a reunion this year, but Noel missed out on the fun as Liam instead delighted them with a tour in support of Oasis’ debut album, Definitely Maybe. In “Definitely Mighty”, Definitely Mighty-themed props appeared onstage and Bonehead performed hits from the album alongside Liam.
In a joint statement, Oasis said of the upcoming tour: “The stars are aligned. The long wait is over. Come and see. It won’t be televised.”
The 2025 tour will coincide with the 30th anniversary of their legendary album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory. Together. It is one of the best-selling LPs of all time. Hits from the album include Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova and Don’t Look Back In Anger, sung by Noel.
Tickets for OASIS 25 LIVE go on sale on Saturday and the show is expected to be the most ticketed in British music history. The OASIS LIVE 25 WORLD TOUR will visit Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in summer 2025 before heading to other venues outside Europe.
