Oasis have warned people not to resell tickets for their reunion tour at inflated prices.
The band wrote to X: “Since presales began we have been made aware of people trying to sell tickets on the secondary market. Please note that tickets can only be resold at face value through @Ticketmaster and @Twickets.”
The band added that any tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be cancelled by the promoter.
This comes after fans were outraged to discover that tickets bought by people who received early access codes in the presale lottery were being resold for over £6,000.
A limited number of people were able to take advantage of the chance to win the coveted tickets on Friday from 7pm to 10pm. Tickets were sold on a first come first served basis.
However, shortly after going on sale, prices for standing tickets were listed on StubHub between £807 and £3,615, with some seats in the lower sections costing as much as £6,347.
Resale website Viagogo was also selling tickets for more than £2,000.
A fan wrote to X: “Liam Gallagher, Noel Gallagher, Oasis this is just wrong, so many of us want to see you.”
Another user wrote: “The fact that Oasis tickets are already being resold for exorbitant prices makes me sick. Do real fans have any chance?”
Oasis sent fans into a frenzy when they announced the band was reuniting on Tuesday morning after weeks of speculation.
The comeback comes 15 years after Noel’s famous departure.
The band will play five nights at Wembley Stadium in London, five nights at Heaton Park in their hometown of Manchester, three nights in Scotland, two nights in Ireland and two nights in Wales.
Tickets for the remainder of the 15-date tour go on general sale at 9am on Saturday, with tickets for the two Dublin shows going on sale at 8am.
