A plane crashed in the Brazilian state of São Paulo, killing all 62 people on board.

According to airline Vaupass, the twin-engine turboprop plane was en route from Cascavel in the southern state of Paraná to São Paulo’s main airport when it crashed in the town of Vinhedo.

Footage of the circulating on social media shows the plane spiraling into a vertical dive. There were 58 passengers and four crew members on board the

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva paid tribute to the victims at an event he spoke at.
