Time may be running out for Harry and Meghan to rejoin the royal family.
Harry and Meghan left the royal family in 2020 and will no longer be referred to as His Royal Highness (HRH). Harry has also given up his military titles.
The couple no longer have an official residence in the UK. They were evicted from Frogmore Cottage, a Grade II listed property on the Windsor Estate, in early 2023. And now the couple have been warned that “time is running out” to return to the royal circle.
Experts say the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have become “unrelated” to the rest of the royal family.
Richard Eden also said that Meghan and Harry are “unwanted” by the royal family.
The Daily Mail’s diarist told Palace Confidential: “If Harry wants to return he must do so while his father is still king, but I believe the reception for Harry would be very frosty if Prince William were to return.” He added: “I really don’t see Harry being able to come back and be given a role again when Prince William becomes king.
