Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s rumoured world trip is more about “publicity” than a noble cause, a royal.

US-based royal commentator Hilary Fordwich said a world tour would further highlight the couple’s “hypocrisy” given their previous requests for privacy.

“I think they’re on a world tour. It was quite embarrassing when they were in Africa recently and the national anthem was playing and Prince Harry just stood there.

” An excuse to care for people. If they really cared about people they could do a lot for charity.

“Their world tours won’t be done behind the scenes with no publicity they will be going to remote villages to raise funds and help people. It will have no impact, it will make no difference and they will crave publicity wherever they go.

“She will get a lot of attention because that’s what Meghan craves. Look what she’s done throughout her life. Everything she’s ever done is for publicity. When they went to LA they hired three PR firms.

“She craves the spotlight. Hypocrite Harry once said that when he hears the cameras clicking he feels a shiver go down his spine thinking about what happened to his mother. “So why not just stay out of the spotlight?”

Rumours of a world tour began after the Sussexes visited Nigeria in May.

Harry told a Nigerian news agency during the tour that he was looking forward to travelling more as work is important and there is only so much you can do at home or on Zoom. The Mirror: “There is already a lot of buzz and excitement in Ghana and everyone can’t wait for Harry and Meghan to come and experience the amazing culture and warmth.

“Several top stars have visited Ghana in recent years, from Ed Sheeran to Naomi Campbell to Liam Payne from One Direction.”

TalkTV presenter Andre Walker claimed on his show That Was The Wake That Was: “Following the success of their Nigerian trip, Harry and Meghan will be doing a world tour this summer.”
