King Charles reportedly cannot forgive his youngest son, Prince Harry, for harshly criticizing his wife, Queen Camilla, in his sensational memoir, Spare. The Duke of Sussex has reportedly tried to negotiate a peace deal with the company, but his pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

Prince Harry retired from senior royal duties in 2020 and published the tell-all on January 10, 2023, after finally reuniting with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in Montecito, California, where he had settled.

Christopher Andersen, author of The King, told Fox News: “I think people need to understand that the one thing Charles cannot tolerate is criticism of Camilla.”

The author explained that Harry made some pretty shocking comments in “The King.” He portrayed his father’s wife as a “villain” and described Harry as “standing on his own.”

He added: I don’t think they’ll ever forgive Harry for that.”

The last time Harry visited his father was on a 25-hour whirlwind flight to the UK in February after the king publicly declared he had “an unspecified type of cancer.”

Previously, Harry and Meghan detailed their difficult relationship with the royal family in an interview with Oprah, and also accused the family of “sleeping with the royals” in the Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan.”

The article was published to highlight the Queen’s efforts to restore her public image following her affair with his father, Camilla, and to garner good press in the tabloids, as Prince Harry has said her role in the breakdown of Charles’ marriage to Harry’s mother, Princess Diana.

On Camilla becoming queen, Christopher told Fox News: “The King has been pressuring the Queen for a long time and in many different ways to accept Camilla

We must remember that the King promised not to make Camilla queen.” And I think that’s one of the things that still bothers Prince Harry and Prince William.” The Church of England’s service made Prince Charles the first royal to have a civil wedding in the UK.

After their wedding in 2005, Camilla was known as “Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall,” a title she held until the King’s coronation, where she became Camilla Queen Elizabeth II, and they were forced to accept her. It took a few years, but Harry and William eventually accepted Camilla, writing, “There’s no doubt that she is a rock for their father and a solid, reliable support system that he can’t do without.”
