P-Pop group BINI has achieved another milestone on Spotify. This time, the group reached 5.2 million monthly listeners on the music platform.
They became the first P-Pop group to achieve the said feat on Spotify.
Star Music PH took to social media to mark the said milestone.
“OFFICIALLY AT ✨5 MILLION+✨ MARK! 💪🥳 The Nation Girl Group @bini_ph reached 5 MILLION+ @Spotify Monthly Listeners! Congratulations, our walo!🌸 Padayon lang, BINI and BLOOM besties! 💗” the music label posted.
Fans were quick to extend their congratulatory messages to the group as well.
“Congratulations and more BINI,” said one fan, while another commented: “More milestones await because you survived!!”
In addition to the massive performance on Spotify, BINI also recently entered the international stage by appearing on the Chinese reality show Show It All.
This is a survival program featuring trainees from an entertainment company led by EXO’s Ray Chan, with the goal of creating the next big girl group.
BINI performed their summer hit “Pantropico” on the show. The P-POP group also performed “I Feel Good” and “Carrera.”
Last March, BINI received the Rising Star Award at Billboard Philippines Women in Music.
In an interview at the awards ceremony, the group expressed their admiration for their huge leap forward with Spotify.
“We started this year with just 100,000 monthly listeners, and in just two months we’ve reached 1.4 million. That’s a huge leap forward, and that’s why it feels incredible. ” BINI explained.
On what they believe has contributed to the significant increase in monthly listener numbers on the music platform, the group says: “Pantropico has helped us the most. It’s really terrible that he’s flourishing on TikTok.”
BINI continued, “And we know that he’s not only on TikTok, but also on me. I noticed it blooming on all of our social media.” I just released a new EP, specifically “Salamin,” and “Salamin” also felt an increase in streaming numbers.
