Taylor Swift officially kicks off the London leg of her iconic Eras Tour tonight as the Cruel Summer star treats fans to eight sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium. But are tickets still available?

Dedicated Swifties were already queuing up for the opening of Taylor’s show in the capital, with many fans arriving yesterday afternoon to secure last-minute tickets. Luckily, one dedicated supporter told how she managed to snap up two tickets to the concert just hours before Taylor took to the stage.

Helen Derbs took to TikTok under the username @lifecoachhelen to reveal how she got a ticket to the second night of the Liverpool game without a code. Referring to a photo of her seats, which were to the left of the end podium, she said: “There was a little bit of an obstruction on that side but it wasn’t really a problem because she didn’t really spend a lot of time on the other side of the stage.”

Speaking of her successful ticket stunt, she said: “So we’ve been following the evolution of ticket prices for the Edinburgh show and the show tonight in Liverpool. We looked at different prices half an hour before kick-off depending on the time of day because I saw some people buying very cheap tickets 30 minutes before kick-off.

“The cheapest tickets we saw were around 3pm. Now I bought them a bit later, I was hoping they would cost less the closer I got. But 4pm was my cut-off time because I didn’t want the hassle, so I paid maybe £40-£50 more than I would have at 3.30pm.”

Swiftie then shared the resale sites she had been following before the concert, saying: “We looked at all different resale sites but StubHub was our only option.” Yes, we paid a lot more than people would have paid last year but that’s what happens with a sold out concert, especially when it’s only been three nights in Liverpool.

She confessed that she paid around £500 but added that “it was worth every penny”. Helen continued: “I bought the tickets and within 40 minutes they were transferred to my name. “We went there, scanned the QR code, it was really easy. We had no queues, we arrived at around 6:40pm and got straight in.”

The Shake It Off fan then highlighted the security measures she put in place to avoid scams, saying: “We made sure to pay via PayPal. and using a credit card linked to PayPal so we are protected if we get scammed for any reason.

However, it is important to remain vigilant when buying tickets as scammers have already extorted thousands of pounds from concertgoers.

PayPal says you should avoid transacting through the ‘Friends and Family’ option as it does not protect you. They warned: ‘If a seller asks you to send a payment to Friends and Family when purchasing a product or service, you should decline. You may be dealing with a scammer who knows that your payment is not covered by our Purchase Protection if it is a payment to Friends and Family.

Helen concluded: ‘So if you try that, I hope you have a good time.’ The three-hour shows are currently divided into ten of Taylor’s iconic ‘eras’, including 44 songs from Lover, Fearless, Reputation, Speak Now, Red, Folklore, 1989, Midnights and her latest album. The final section features two surprise acoustic songs performed on either guitar or piano.
