The UAE is set to experience fair to partly cloudy conditions on Monday, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).
As the day advances, it could be cloudy towards west by the afternoon and over some northern and eastern areas by night and Tuesday morning.
While there is a probability of light to moderate rainfall, NCM experts have assured that the situation is not at all alarming as the rains will “not even be comparable” to last week’s event.
Rainfall concerns in the UAE stem from unprecedented rainfall the country experienced from the night of April 16 to April 17, the heaviest in 75 years.
Meanwhile, temperatures on Monday could rise up to 40C inland and drop to at least 13C in mountainous areas.
Maximum temperatures in Abu Dhabi and Dubai are expected to be 35°C and 36°C, respectively, and minimum temperatures of 20°C and 22°C, respectively.
NCM also forecasts light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, becoming northwesterly by early Tuesday morning and increasing at times. The waters will be shallow to medium in the Arabian Gulf and shallow in the Sea of Oman.
