Sheikh Mohammed asked about the situation and welfare of UAE pilgrims performing Hajj rites in the holy land.
The President mentioned the issue during a telephone conversation with Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darej, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat and Head of the UAE Hajj Office.
During the telephone conversation, the President praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the facilities it provides to ensure the comfort of pilgrims and allow them to perform their rites in comfort, security and safety.
Dr. Al Darej said the President asked about the situation of the pilgrims and the services provided by the UAE Pilgrims Office to perform these rites.
Sheikh Mohammed conveyed his greetings to the pilgrims and prayed for the success of their rites. He asked God to protect them and accept them in their Hajj and acts of worship. He also congratulated the Feast of Sacrifice and prayed that it may bring good health and happiness to all.
The UAE Pilgrims Secretary General expressed his appreciation for the special attention the President pays to the well-being of UAE pilgrims, the quality of the services provided to them and his commitment to the pilgrims. The efficiency of procedures to ensure the smooth conduct of these rituals. He commended the leadership’s efforts in serving its citizens both at home and abroad.
