Explosions were heard in Beirut, a day after a pager explosion killed 12 people in Lebanon.

Reuters, citing security sources and witnesses, said communications equipment used by Hezbollah exploded in the south of the country and in the southern suburbs of the capital.
Hezbollah’s Al-Manar TV channel reported that explosions blamed on walkie-talkie explosions occurred in several parts of Lebanon.
At least one of the explosions occurred near a funeral organized by Hezbollah for those killed yesterday, Reuters said.
A series of recent attacks also reportedly killed three people in Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa region, Reuters reported, citing the country’s state news agency.
Earlier in Lebanon on Tuesday, a pager explosion injured about 3,000 people and killed 12.
Lebanese Health Minister Firas Abiad said two children were among the dead.
