Prince Harry sparked outrage last week for not wearing King Charles’ coronation medal during a video appearance.

It turns out Prince Harry made a bizarre excuse for not wearing King Charles’ coronation medal in a new video.

While presenting the Soldier of the Year award at the ceremony, Prince Harry chose not to wear the coronation medal given to him by his father, King Charles.

The Coronation Medal was awarded to all those who actively contributed to and supported the coronation of the monarch on 6 May last year.

Prince Harry did not wear any medals, but he did wear his four other British military medals. And he has a strange excuse for not wearing his father’s medal last year.

As reported by the Daily Mail, sources said Prince Harry’s decision was not a deliberate disrespect for his father.

Rather, this decision was made because the medal was “hung” on a short ribbon and had to be sent to a specialist to be attached to a longer ribbon.

The article added that this was to “prevent it from shaking when worn.”

In a new video, Prince Harry presents an award to US combat medic First Class Elizabeth Marks, praising her “courage, resilience and determination”.
There were no coronation medals, but Harry wore his four military medals on his smart black suit jacket.

He was awarded the Afghanistan Operational Service Medal, which he received in 2008 for his services in Helmand Province, the late Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal, which was awarded to those who served on active duty for five years, in 2002 and She was wearing the Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal she was awarded. In 2012 he was awarded the late Queen’s Platinum His Jubilee Medal, which is presented to members of the emergency services, military, prisons and royal family.

Prince Harry flew to the UK last May to perform at his historic coronation and support his father.

Despite the long journey from California to London, Prince Harry’s visit was very short as the former employee headed to the airport immediately after work.

The father-of-two said he was desperate to get home to celebrate his son Archie’s birthday. His birthday took place on the same day as his coronation.

His wife, Meghan Markle, remained in the United States with their children, Archie, who turns five next week, and Lilibet, two.

Prince Harry will return to the UK next week for a special ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games in London.

The ceremony will be held at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8th, after which the 39-year-old will fly to Nigeria with Meghan Markle.

Duchess Meghan should not accompany Prince Harry to her UK ceremony and should meet him in Nigeria instead.
