A leading plastic surgeon has weighed in on the debate around Katie Price newest facelift as the former glamour model flaunts her impossibly tight face
Katie Price’s most recent appearance has undoubtedly raised some eyebrows because of her long list of cosmetic procedures and constantly shifting appearance.
After going under the knife once more while she was in Turkey, the former glamour model was recently seen sporting a fresh facelift. Despite numerous surgeries, she has acknowledged that she is still unhappy with her appearance and that her mother believes she suffers from body dysmorphia. Heartbreakingly, the 46-year-old said that there is an “underlying issue” at play and that she never thought she looked “done.”
Many people have commented on how high the star’s ears are now after the procedure, which has sparked conversation about her most recent look. The Dr. Omar Tillo, Senior Medical Director at CREO and Plastic Surgeon, about her new appearance and the potential effects of a facelift on the ears.
According to Dr. Tillo, the celebrity has probably had “multiple facelifts, rhinoplasty, lip lift, along with treatments like Botox, dermal fillers, and jawline contouring” in the past. Additionally, he stated that she may have undergone cheek implant procedures to “restore facial volume,” which are likely to blame for her dramatically altered appearance over time.
The expert said there are a number of risks because this is not her first procedure and explained: Scar tissue accumulation, nerve damage, and skin thinning can result from repeated surgeries, making future procedures more difficult. Asymmetry, infection, and complications like slow wound healing are also possible.”
Incisions are frequently made around the ears, which can alter the appearance of the earlobes if not done with care. This can also alter the position of the ears. Dr. Tillo said that because the earlobes are fully attached rather than hanging, the ears may look “pulled,” which can indicate that a facelift has been done.
“The ‘pixie ear’ effect, in which the earlobes appear stretched or pulled, can occur if a facelift is not performed precisely. This occurs when the natural position of the ears shifts. Due to repeated facelifts and skin tightening, which can occasionally distort the shape and positioning of the ears, it’s possible that Katie Price’s ears appear higher than usual,” he explained.
Dr. Tillo advised people considering facelifts to have “realistic expectations” and recognize that, while a facelift can refresh and rejuvenate your face, it will not stop the aging process.
“Added he: To get the best results, it’s also important to think about long-term care, like taking care of your skin properly and using non-surgical treatments. Additionally, avoid performing an excessive number of surgeries because doing so can result in complications and an unnatural appearance.”
