England Test captain Ben Stokes said a masked intruder broke into his home during a match in Pakistan earlier this month.
Stokes said in an online post that jewellery, valuables and “a number of personal belongings” were stolen on October 17 while his wife and two young children were at home.
“We may have lost important possessions but let me be clear, my sole motivation for sharing these photos is not to recover any material possessions. What is important is to catch the people who do this,” the England cricket star said.
He added: “Thankfully no one in my family was injured, however understandably the experience has impacted her emotional and mental state.
“All we can think is how much worse this situation could have been.”
Stokes then shared two more posts containing photos of her possessions, including unique jewelry and an Order of the British Empire medal.

The back of the gold necklace features a lion pendant inscribed with the words, “Some are good, but none are brave.”
The items also included a Christian Dior handbag bearing his wife Claire’s initials.
Mr Stokes urged anyone with information about the stolen goods to contact Durham Police.
