As always, the 2024 National Television Awards were packed with surprise wins, moving speeches, unexpected eliminations and fun moments.
The National Television Awards return to our screens tonight with presenter Joel Dommett hosting for another year.
The NTAs celebrate some of the UK’s biggest shows, including talent shows like Strictly Come Dancing, daytime hits like This Morning, addictive soaps like Emmerdale and binge-watching series like Bridgerton.
This year’s event was broadcast live by ITV and took place at the O2 Arena in London on Wednesday 11 September at 8pm. For the first time, I’m A Celeb winner Sam Thompson and fellow TOWIE star Pete Wicks also took on the role of presenters on the red carpet.
There were both big winners and surprising losers in this year’s 2024 NTAs, with Mr Bates v Post Office scooping up several major awards, while Ant and Dec once again won the Best TV Presenter award and Strictly maintained its top spot despite its recent controversy.
